FAQs

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that customers often ask us. If an answer to one of your questions is not listed here, please contact us.

Where do you get your Palm Wax from and is any wildlife affected from deforestation?

Our Palm Wax comes from a supplier within Australia that has sourced and partnered with a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

This organization was founded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and heads of government and industry involved in palm cultivation.
The RSPO was founded to develop and define best practices for sustainable palm cultivation, and then help member organizations to implement and verify the procedures.

We are very proud to offer this product to our customers as a sustainable, non-genetically modified alternative to other waxes comfortable in the knowledge that it is not contributing to deforestation of important habitats.

What type of wicks do you use in your candles?

A pure cotton with a paper braid wick is used in our candles.

Can I get a candle in any colour or do I have to get them in the colours you have?

We do not normally make our candles in other colours unless a customer wants them for a special occasion like a wedding. If this is the case, then the customer would need to contact us.

Can the Standalone Candles be used in an Oil Burner instead of Tea Lights?

No. The Standalone Candle are a very large Tea Light Candle and may generate to much heat for the Oil Burner. We definitely recommend using our range of Decorative Bowls.

Do I need to add water to a Melt?

No.

Can A Honey Pot Candle be refilled?

We do not refill Honey Pot Candles but when you are finished burning the candle, give the jar a thorough cleaning and fill it with wrapped lollies or bath soaps and give it as a gift (just an idea).

What do I do if I spill candle wax?

If you spill palm wax on a hard surface, allow it to dry and simply chip it off and then clean with warm soapy water.

If you spill palm wax on carpet or mats, allow it to dry. Once the wax is dry and hardened, chip and loosen the wax and then vacuum.
